TF Catamount reported 1x LN jingle truck carrying fuel, gasoline, was blown up by a possible IED 11 km SE from FOB Orgun-E. At 0608Z TF Catamount reported that a fuel jingle truck struck a possible IED causing a massive explosion in the town of Saykhan Pir Cote valley. The location given was a major transit route for supplies and convoys transiting between FOBs Lawara and Orgun-E although the truck is not believed to be resupplying any CF FOB. ANP investigated and remained in the village overnight. ANP report to follow upon return to FOB O-E. At 0709Z TF Catamount provided update to fueler from yesterday, ANP reports that it was hit by what appears to be an AP mine, minor damage to the truck, it did not explode. However, it is described as being in a very good ambush position, which coupled with the reports of a "huge explosion, and a bomb" from yesterday indicates that it was likely a baited ambush to draw CF out of OE.
